Power Platform Command Line Interface: August Update
August Update for Power Platform Command Line Interface
The August update for the Power Platform Command Line Interface (CLI) brings several new features based on user feedback. Users can now list and update tenant settings using CLI commands. This allows developers to view and modify the controls implemented by administrators in the tenant. The CLI also introduces the ability to create, update, delete, and list Dataverse connections. These connections can be created using service principal credentials, which is helpful when developers don't want to use a user's identity for fetching data in an application. Additionally, the CLI provides intuitive aliases for listing environments and Power Pages. The release also includes a minor update to the managed Identity flag for pac auth create, allowing regular user credentials instead of just managed identities. Users are encouraged to provide feedback on these new capabilities for further improvement.
