Inventing a brand we’d want to do work for, we created Slosh, a fictional seltzer brand with a vibrant and maximalist design aesthetic. The brand identity captured the essence of fun and letting loose, bringing the feeling of a buzzing party through the screen.

Brainstorm to Beverage: Inventing Slosh

The journey of creating Slosh started from brainstorming various product ideas and settling on the food and drink market. The brand quickly took shape as the life of the party, embodying fun and excitement that we love at Buttermax.

From Brainstorm to Beverage: Inventing Slosh

Users were welcomed to the site by popping open a can of Slosh, entering a world of flying fruit, dancing text, pong games, and cheers. The UI/UX experience aimed to delight users and capture the essence of drinking a Slosh.

Lessons Learned: The Art of Adaptation

Through this project, we learned the importance of sketching the outline but allowing others to contribute creatively. We also realized the significance of prioritizing internal projects, despite resource challenges, to grow skills and create case studies for future clients in the food and drink market.

Conclusion

Designing a website for a fictional brand like Slosh allowed us to have fun, experiment, and grow as a team. The project served as a valuable learning experience and a creative outlet for showcasing our skills in branding and visual identity.
